Can I attend SMC-IT/SCC 2024 virtually?

Regrettably, we are not able to accommodate virtual attendance this year.

My organization is interested in sponsoring. Where can I find more information?

SMC-IT/SCC 2024 continues to offer exciting opportunities for sponsors. Please refer to the Sponsor Prospectus and Sponsor Guide and Order Form for further sponsorship information.

Is it possible to register for a single day and/or for workshops only?

There is a single tier of registration, which gives full access to the main track, keynotes, workshops, and food / social events. SMC-IT/SCC strongly emphasizes the interdisciplinary nature of space technology; this involves actively and intentionally fostering cross-topic interaction.

Do workshop organizers and speakers need to pay for conference registration?

Unfortunately, we cannot cover registration or travel for every workshop speaker. Everyone involved with conference organization pays for registration, including chairs. We operate as a non-profit; to the extent possible, all funds received go toward improving the experience on the week of the conference and subsidizing student registrations.

Can individual workshops be sponsored?

Sponsorships are conference-wide. However, sponsors actively participating in a workshop may, at their own discretion, reserve some of their complimentary registrations for workshop speakers or organizers.

How can press attend the conference?

We do not have a registered press list or any special provisions or fees. Members of the press register as regular attendees.

How can I obtain a confirmation letter to request a visa?

Authors of accepted papers and presentations in need of a confirmation letter to request a visa should contact Ivan Perez (ivan.perezdominguez@nasa.gov).
